When Eric was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma in 2011, we were blindsided. There were so many other things to consider beyond the immediate medical decisions and the biggest changes to come in our lives:
- How do we talk about cancer with our 3-year-old?
- Why do we feel so alone?
- Where do we go from here?
Every cancer journey is unique. Each patient has different questions and needs, but we are all connected. Cancer Canknot was born out of our desire to use Eric’s diagnosis to help others. It is our way of creating what we didn’t have in 2011.
With your help, we can give others the chance to become extreme survivors.

What is the Deadline to Register as a Player...?
The deadline to register to play in the event is May 18th.

The deadline to sign up as a sponsor is May 18th.
What Is The Format of the Event...?
The event will be a scramble format where the rules emphasize fun without the pressure of the players keeping individual scores. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole and then everyone plays from the spot of the best shot from your team each time until the hole is finished... and then you celebrate your great score!
Do I Need To Be Good To Play...?
Not at all! This is a fun event and all levels of play are encouraged! You won't even have to use your own shot each time. If you've ever played mini golf you can be a big contributor to your team... and even easier, there won't be any windmills to hit through!
Refund/Cancellation Policy...?
The tournament will be played rain or shine. If a player or team is a “no show” the entry fee is non refundable and we thank you for your donation! Cancellations prior to May 25th can be refunded.

Yes, the Cancer Canknot Foundation is a Non Profit 501(c)3 Corporation. Tax ID number: 94-1259483.
What Is My Donation Supporting...?
All profits will support the Cancer Canknot Foundation in efforts to continue funding other non profit organizations for cancer research and our commitment to further support our communities through other fundraisers and other awareness opportunities and programs along along the way.
