When Eric was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma in 2011, we were blindsided. There were so many other things to consider beyond the immediate medical decisions and the biggest changes to come in our lives:
- How do we talk about cancer with our 3 year old?
- Why do we feel so alone?
- Where do we go from here?
Every cancer journey is unique and each patient has different questions and needs, but we are all connected. Cancer Canknot was born from our desire to use Eric’s diagnosis to help and inspire others. It is our way of creating a space and sharing all of the things we didn’t know in 2011.
With your help, we can give others the chance to become extreme survivors.

The deadline to register to play in the event is September 3rd.

What Is The Format Of The Event...?
The event will be a scramble format where the rules emphasize fun without the pressure of the players keeping individual scores. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, but everyone plays from the spot of the best shot.
Do I Need To Be Good To Play...?
Not at all! This is a fun event and all levels of play are encouraged! You don't even have to use your own shot each time... if you've played mini golf you can be a big contributor to your team... and there won't be any windmills to hit through!
Refund/Cancellation Policy...?
The tournament will be played rain or shine. If a player or team isa “no show” the entry fee is non refundable and we thank you for your donation! Cancellations prior to September 3rd can be fully refunded.
Is My Donation Tax Deductible...?
Yes, the Cancer Canknot Foundation is a Non Profit 501(c)3 Corporation with final application pending. Tax ID number: 94-1259483.
What Is My Donation Supporting...?
All profits will support the Cancer Canknot Foundation in efforts to continue funding other non profit organizations for cancer research and our commitment to further support our communities through other fundraisers and other awareness opportunities and programs along the way.
